Moms Panel Training Day 3: Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue

According to the Walt Disney World Website: "The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is an old-fashioned dinner show that includes foot-stompin' music, nostalgic comedy and an all-you-care-to-eat dinner at Pioneer Hall in Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Get ready for good, ol' country fun!"

If you ask anyone on the Moms Panel, they'll tell you that description is putting it mildly...we had an absolute BLAST!

Here's our crew getting ready to head in to the Hoop-Dee-Doo!!

Photo below by Joel, we're ready for some more fun!

I've been to Disney World many times, but had not yet had the pleasure of experiencing the Hoop-Dee-Doo. I can't think of a better time for this "first", as it was exponentially more fun with my group of Moms Panel friends.

Check out that slab of cornbread!

From the buckets of food being slammed in front of us, to the corny jokes and sweet songs, it was an all-around great time.

Amanda W with the bucket of chicken and beans...
Yum, LOL.

Straw. Straw Berry. Strawberry Shortcake.
The dessert was delicious!

At one point in the show, they pulled volunteers out of the audience. Disney Dad Chris was selected along with Lauren. Here's Chris on the far left. (Un) Fortunately for him, he knew what was coming, as he had been chosen for this role before in the past. :)

Lauren waiting to see what her role would be.

Lauren was a can-can dancer. She was amazing and quite the natural!! :)

Chris, bless his heart, was Davey Crockett's angel. He was SO AWESOME and had us in tears from laughing so hard.

At the end of the show, they hand out washboards for music making. Terry had it at our table, and was quite the talented musician.

Gettin' down...
I love Terry's infectious smile and he was SO much fun at Hoop-Dee-Doo. :) Note, I'd bet $ that Joel was tweeting about Chris the angel here ;)
Leanne, Kay and Kathie making music...

The Hoop-Dee-Doo was yet another experience that I will cherish always.

As we made a pit-stop on the way out, I snapped this photo of Kay's awesome Mikey ears :)

Would you believe that our magical day STILL had another exciting event in store?!
